L\u2019engagement du sculpteur Andr\u00e9 Lasserre en Suisse romande"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Le sculpteur Andr\u00e9 Lasserre (1902-1981) s\u2019installe \u00e0 Lausanne en 1951 et coupe radicalement ses liens avec le communisme, qui avaient guid\u00e9 une part importante de sa pratique artistique d\u2019avant-guerre \u00e0 Paris. L\u2019objectif de cet article est de rendre compte de la red\u00e9finition que Lasserre op\u00e8re de son engagement une fois en Suisse romande et de la fa\u00e7on dont il se mat\u00e9rialise. Celui-ci s\u2019aligne sur les pr\u00e9occupations artistiques vaudoises, plus sp\u00e9cifiquement sur celles de l\u2019association de l\u2019\u0152uvre, et se manifester par la r\u00e9alisation de design industriel, de sculptures destin\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019espace public, int\u00e9gr\u00e9es aux de b\u00e2timents ou am\u00e9nag\u00e9es au sol. Cette orientation permet \u00e0 Lasserre de se distinguer par l\u2019usage pionnier qu\u2019il fait de l\u2019usage plastique du b\u00e9ton. La participation de Lasserre \u00e0 l\u2019Expo 64 contribue \u00e0 renforcer sa position sur la sc\u00e8ne artistique.
