During my studies, I developed a strong interest in neuroimaging techniques and the complexities of the brain. For my Master\u2019s thesis, I worked with diffusion MRI data, focusing on the analysis of structural asymmetries between hemispheres in children with a specific type of epilepsy.<br>This experience motivated me to further explore brain structure, in particular microstructure, leading me to pursue a PhD focused on obtaining measures of the morphology of axons composing white matter and of deposits of iron within grey matter tissue. I moved to Lausanne to undertake this research and successfully completed my PhD in the fall of 2023. Following my PhD, I continued working in the same laboratory as a Postdoctoral researcher for an additional year, further developing my project on characterizing iron deposits in brain tissue.<br>In the fall of 2024, I joined Ileana Jelescu\u2019s lab as a Postdoctoral researcher.
