{"id":160,"date":"2019-05-28T16:24:48","date_gmt":"2019-05-28T14:24:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/mial\/?page_id=160"},"modified":"2020-02-11T17:01:21","modified_gmt":"2020-02-11T16:01:21","slug":"research","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/mial\/research\/","title":{"rendered":"Research"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We aim at developing <span style=\"color: #003366\"><strong>novel image processing methods<\/strong><\/span> to allow a more effective use of emerging medical images, balanced between fundamental research aspects of image processing, <span style=\"color: #003366\"><strong>machine learning<\/strong><\/span> and <strong><span style=\"color: #003366\">application-oriented<\/span><\/strong> projects. Our research is applied in several clinical domains like computer aided diagnostic and therapy planning procedures. Our goal is to facilitate true clinical adoption of the developed methods and tools by strongly engaging interdisciplinary joint effort of engineers and clinicians.
