She holds a Master\u2019s degree in Drug Design and Development \u2013 Pharmaceutical Chemistry and has professional experience in the analytical development department in the pharmaceutical industry using HPLC and LC-MS\/MS. During this period she developed a strong interest in the field of metabolomics and lipidomics and she was motivated to expand her skills and gain additional knowledge in the application of metabolomics on the investigation of microbiome-derived metabolites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Her PhD project will focus on\u00a0<strong>microbiome-derived lipids<\/strong>, from structural characterization to quantitative profiling across a diverse range of human biofluids.
