The MagPet group is part of the institute of Earth Sciences (ISTE) of the faculty of geosciences and environment at the university of Lausanne (UNIL) in Switzerland.
It gathers researchers working on magmatic processes and magmatic petrology, from the study of natural rocks and minerals (including field campaign) to experimental studies at high temperature in the lab.
The group members are also highly involved in teaching, with courses, practical courses and field courses for bachelor and master students at the faculty of geoscience and environment.
