Cr\u00e9\u00e9 en souvenir de Jean Falk-Vairant, neurobiologiste d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 29 ans dans un accident.
Le Fonds Jean Falk-Vairant a pour objectif de contribuer \u00e0 la formation de jeunes chercheurs dans le domaine des neurosciences fondamentales et cliniques, notamment sur les m\u00e9canismes impliqu\u00e9s dans les maladies du syst\u00e8me nerveux. Le Fonds attribue des subsides pour de brefs stages de formation en neurosciences.<\/strong> Le montant d\u2019un subside est de l\u2019ordre de 2000.- CHF environ.
Les subsides sont octroy\u00e9s \u00e0 de jeunes chercheurs de la r\u00e9gion l\u00e9manique voulant se perfectionner \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur, ou \u00e0 de jeunes chercheurs \u00e9trangers d\u00e9sirant se former dans la r\u00e9gion l\u00e9manique. <\/strong>
Le Fonds attribue aussi des \u00ab Prix Jean Falk-Vairant \u00bb pour les meilleures pr\u00e9sentations \u00e0 la R\u00e9union annuelle du Reseau NeuroL\u00e9man.<\/a>
Dans certains cas, le Fonds peut aussi contribuer \u00e0 la participation active \u00e0 un congr\u00e8s, notamment pour de jeunes post-doc. Pour ces subventions de voyage, veuillez respecter les deux dates limites de soumission par an (1er mars et 1er septembre).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Created in memory of Jean Falk-Vairant, a neurobiologist who died in an accident at the age of 29.
The Fund Jean Falk-Vairant aims to contribute to the training of young researchers in the field of basic and clinical neurosciences, including the mechanisms involved in diseases of the nervous system. The Fund awards grants for short training and research stays in neuroscience labs. <\/strong>The amount of the subsidy is around 2000.- CHF.
The subsidies are awarded to young researchers of the Lemanic area (Lake of Geneva region) who want research experience outside their research laboratory, or to young foreign researchers wishing to train in the Lemanic region. <\/strong>
The Fund also attributes the “Prix Jean-Falk-Vairant” for the best presentations at the Annual Meeting of the NeuroL\u00e9man Network and Doctoral Schools<\/a>.
In certain cases, the fund can also provide financial support for the active participation to a conference, especially for young post-docs. For these travel grants, please respect the two submission deadlines per year (March 1 & September 1). <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Yves Dunant, Honorary Professor of the Faculty of Medicine of UNIGE, and long-time secetary of the Jean Falk-Vairant foundation, has passed away in the beginning of August 2022. We will always remember him as a passionate researcher and supporter of young neuroscientists in the Lemanic area. Thank you for everything, Yves!<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
