Join the recently funded SNSF TALES-\u03c7 project and work at the intersection of fundamental physics and environmental science on Lake Geneva on the <a href=\"https:\/\/lexplore.info\/fr\/accueil\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/lexplore.info\/fr\/accueil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">L\u00e9XPLORE platform<\/a>\u2014one of the world&#8217;s most instrumented natural laboratories.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-da0f5e1b62646619be460dad7cfd780a\"><strong>The challenge\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While we understand seasonal lake stratification well, we still lack detailed observations of how turbulence evolves hour-by-hour in surface layers\u2014particularly during critical periods like daytime re-stratification. This project fills that gap using microstructure profilers and moored instruments to map turbulence patterns across depths and seasons.
