La d\u00e9fense du monde ouvrier et des cat\u00e9gories subalternes serait-elle incompatible avec l\u2019engagement religieux ?<\/p>\n<p>Telle est la question au c\u0153ur de la pr\u00e9sente publication, dont les contributions portent sur la Jeunesse ouvri\u00e8re chr\u00e9tienne, la Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration romande du travail, le Mouvement populaire des familles, l\u2019\u00c9glise du peuple \u00e0 La Chaux-de-Fonds, les syndicats chr\u00e9tiens-sociaux \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve et au Tessin et des personnalit\u00e9s comme Arthur Maret ou John Schmocker, entre autres.<\/p>\n<p>Ce num\u00e9ro des <em>Cahiers d&rsquo;histoire du mouvement ouvrier <\/em>dirig\u00e9 par Gilles Descloux, Marianne Enckell et Hadrien Buclin (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/hist\/fr\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Section d&rsquo;histoire<\/a>) contribue \u00e0 notre compr\u00e9hension d&rsquo;engagements au sein desquels le militantisme (syndical, socialiste, marxiste ou anarchiste) prend souvent le pas sur les motivations religieuses.
