La d\u00e9couverte du fonds documentaire et iconographique de l\u2019ancien couvent des Capucines conserv\u00e9 aux archives du dioc\u00e8se de Lugano a permis de mieux comprendre quelles \u00e9taient les possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9ducation f\u00e9minine aux XVIIIe et XIXe si\u00e8cles dans un canton catholique comme le Tessin.<\/p>\n<p>Cet ouvrage, qui accompagne l\u2019exposition homonyme tenue au\u00a0Centre pastoral du dioc\u00e8se \u00e0 Lugano (2017), explore l\u2019\u00e9ducation des jeunes filles au couvent, en s\u2019appuyant sur ce fonds d\u2019archives dans lequel se m\u00eale la chronique du monast\u00e8re, dessins d\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ves, travaux \u00e0 l\u2019aiguille, alphabets de couture, herbiers ou mat\u00e9riels didactiques.
