<\/p>\n

Dans son \u00e9tude \u00ab\u00a0Les formes du temps et du chronotope dans le roman\u00a0\u00bb, Mikha\u00efl Bakhtine a discut\u00e9 des fonctions du fripon, du bouffon et du sot. D\u2019apr\u00e8s le philosophe et th\u00e9oricien russe de la litt\u00e9rature, ces trois figures jouent un r\u00f4le important dans l’\u00e9volution du roman europ\u00e9en, en refl\u00e9tant la d\u00e9marche du romancier: plut\u00f4t que de prendre part \u00e0 la vie, les fripons, bouffons et sots l’observent et la mettent \u00e0 nu.<\/p>\n
