La tortue Cortex invite le jeune lecteur \u00e0 visiter Vallon, proche de la capitale helv\u00e9tique Avenches. Il y d\u00e9couvrira comment on vivait \u00e0 la campagne. Saviez-vous que le bon fonctionnement et l\u2019administration \u00e9taient confi\u00e9s \u00e0 un vilicus, un intendant qui vivait sur place avec sa famille? Que le foyer (la cuisine) se situait dans un coin recul\u00e9 de la maison, dans la partie r\u00e9serv\u00e9e aux esclaves? En suivant leur petit guide \u00e0 pattes, les enfants deviendront incollables sur la vie \u00e0 la campagne au temps des Romains!<\/p>\n

Afin d\u2019accompagner les enfants dans leur d\u00e9couverte du patrimoine suisse, la collection\u00a0Les Guides \u00e0 pattes<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>dirig\u00e9e et r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par des arch\u00e9ologues form\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019UNIL, propose des ouvrages p\u00e9dagogiques et ludiques pr\u00e9sentant les plus importants sites arch\u00e9ologiques et leur mus\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

R\u00e9alis\u00e9 en collaboration avec le Mus\u00e9e romain de Vallon, ce volume a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9dig\u00e9 par Caroline Olivier et Lucile Tissot (Institut d’arch\u00e9ologie et des sciences de l’Antiquit\u00e9<\/a>), et illustr\u00e9 par Bernard Reymond. Il est \u00e9galement disponible en allemand.<\/p>\n
