Peter Pan<\/em> de James Matthew Barrie (1860-1937) a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9 en pi\u00e8ce de th\u00e9\u00e2tre en 1904 et en roman en 1911. Mais il en existe \u00e9galement de nombreuses versions, r\u00e9\u00e9critures, dramatisations, pr\u00e9quelles et suites.<\/p>\n

Cette \u00e9tude de Kirsten Stirling (Section d’anglais<\/a>) explore les principales\u00a0interpr\u00e9tations critiques du texte au cours de son histoire. L’auteure aborde l’histoire complexe du livre, en revenant sur ses origines dans la tradition th\u00e9\u00e2trale de l’arlequinade et la pantomime britannique du XIXe si\u00e8cle.\u00a0Elle analyse les sources textuelles et extra-textuelles potentielles de Peter Pan<\/em>, ainsi que la prolif\u00e9ration des pr\u00e9quelles et suites visant \u00e0 expliquer, contextualiser ou clore l’exploration de l’imagination de J.
