La question du r\u00f4le que l\u2019auteur doit jouer dans l\u2019analyse des textes litt\u00e9raires est l\u2019une des plus controvers\u00e9es dans les \u00e9tudes litt\u00e9raires. Doit-il \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un auteur empirique, ou son nom peut-il au contraire \u00eatre r\u00e9duit \u00e0 une simple fonction d\u2019auteur?<\/p>\n

Ce livre porte sur l\u2019image publique de l\u2019auteur. Sur le plan m\u00e9thodologique, il se base sur le concept de \u00ab\u00a0l\u00e9gende biographique\u00a0\u00bb de Boris Toma\u0161evskij, entendue comme une posture d\u2019auteur cr\u00e9\u00e9e de mani\u00e8re discursive qui sert de m\u00e9diateur entre le public et l\u2019\u0153uvre. Une telle approche permet d\u2019examiner la formation de la l\u00e9gende biographique comme une pratique en phase avec l\u2019\u0153uvre litt\u00e9raire, et fournit ainsi des pistes pour r\u00e9\u00e9valuer la relation entre la biographie de l\u2019auteur et son \u0153uvre, souvent taboue dans les \u00e9tudes litt\u00e9raires.<\/p>\n
