<\/p>\n

Ce volume \u00e9tudie la rencontre entre les communaut\u00e9s bouddhistes et musulmanes de l’Asie du Sud et de l’Asie centrale au cours de la p\u00e9riode m\u00e9di\u00e9vale.<\/p>\n

Les principaux domaines abord\u00e9s peuvent \u00eatre divis\u00e9s en cinq grandes cat\u00e9gories: 1) d\u00e9construire les connaissances sur les interactions entre bouddhistes et musulmans, 2) \u00e9changes culturels et religieux, 3) perceptions de l\u2019autre, 4) transmission du savoir, 5) commerce et \u00e9conomie. Les sujets abord\u00e9s illustrent les vastes d\u00e9fis que pose la gestion des cadres historique, social, culturel et \u00e9conomique qui couvrent l\u2019Asie centrale et m\u00e9ridionale du monde pr\u00e9moderne.<\/p>\n

Les articles d\u2019historiens, \u00e9pigraphistes, philologues, historiens de l’art et arch\u00e9ologues, r\u00e9unis par Blain Auer et Ingo Strauch, tous deux \u00e0 la Section de langues et civilisations slaves et de l’Asie du Sud<\/a>, renouvellent notre connaissance des sources et nous permettent de mieux comprendre les \u00e9changes entre communaut\u00e9s bouddhistes et musulmanes.<\/p>\n
