Percevant tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t chez cet artiste une sensibilit\u00e9 et une exigence rejoignant les siennes, le po\u00e8te lui \u00e9crit en novembre 1951: il propose \u00e0 Pal\u00e9zieux une collaboration artistique. Ce sera le \u00ab\u00a0po\u00ebme-image\u00a0\u00bb <em>\u00c9toile<\/em> (1952), qui inaugure un dialogue esth\u00e9tique prolong\u00e9 par <em>Le Repos du cavalier<\/em> (1958).<\/p>\n<p>La correspondance \u00e9chang\u00e9e entre les deux hommes, qui couvre plus de deux d\u00e9cennies, permet d\u2019assister \u00e0 la composition de leurs projets communs, d\u2019entrer au c\u0153ur d\u2019une relation amicale, pleine d\u2019affection respectueuse et d\u2019admiration r\u00e9ciproque.
