Ils sont devenus les compagnons de nos loisirs, de nos balades, de nos voyages.\u00a0Ce livre refl\u00e8te leurs aspects divers et parfois contradictoires. Sans ignorer les reproches qu\u2019on peut faire \u00e0 certains guides ou \u00e0 certaines collections, il \u00e9claire l\u2019histoire du genre, sa richesse et sa cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Dans un langage simple et clair, les auteurs r\u00e9unis par\u00a0Ariane Devanth\u00e9ry et Claude Reichler (<a href=\"https:\/\/unil.ch\/fra\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Section de fran\u00e7ais<\/a>) racontent leur exp\u00e9rience de cr\u00e9ateurs, de lecteurs ou d\u2019utilisateurs. G\u00e9ographes, historiens, sociologues, journalistes, \u00e9crivains d\u00e9crivent les effets des guides sur la culture de la modernit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Le lecteur d\u00e9couvre comment se sont nou\u00e9s, dans le guide, l\u2019espace du livre et celui du monde.
