Si les lieux et les \u00e9v\u00e9nements sont identiques, le ton de ce journal intime diff\u00e8re consid\u00e9rablement du texte paru, pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment parce qu&rsquo;il n\u2019\u00e9tait pas destin\u00e9 \u00e0 la publication. Le regard est plus direct, et le propos volontiers cru, moins \u00ab\u00a0politiquement correct\u00a0\u00bb. Et puis, on y d\u00e9couvre l&rsquo;une des motivations premi\u00e8res du voyage : revoir \u00e0 l&rsquo;escale de Ceylan une femme dont l\u2019\u00e9crivain \u00e9tait \u00e9pris. Le s\u00e9jour du couple sur l\u2019\u00eele, leur s\u00e9paration et les suites de celle-ci sont relat\u00e9s \u00e0 travers les yeux de l&rsquo;amour d\u00e9\u00e7u.<\/p>\n<p>En collaboration avec la Fondation Guy de Pourtal\u00e8s, le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/clsr\/fr\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Centre des litt\u00e9ratures en Suisse romande<\/a>\u00a0de la Facult\u00e9 des lettres publie une s\u00e9rie de volumes repr\u00e9sentatifs de la production de l\u2019\u00e9crivain, dans des \u00e9ditions critiques, con\u00e7ues en exploitant le fonds d\u2019archives conserv\u00e9 au Centre des litt\u00e9ratures en Suisse romande.\u00a0Comment\u00e9s et annot\u00e9s par des chercheurs sp\u00e9cialistes de Pourtal\u00e8s ou des questions historiques et litt\u00e9raires propres aux textes, ces livres au format de poche se veulent accessibles au public scolaire et universitaire.<\/p>\n<p>Les autres titres parus sont <a
