Aby Warburg (1866-1929), le fondateur de l\u2019iconologie et l\u2019un des scientifiques culturels les plus importants du si\u00e8cle dernier, \u00e9tait une personnalit\u00e9 brillante et contradictoire qui a laiss\u00e9 un travail riche mais inachev\u00e9 et difficile \u00e0 mesurer. Apr\u00e8s avoir re\u00e7u peu d\u2019attention pendant des d\u00e9cennies, il fait aujourd’hui l\u2019objet d\u2019une intense \u00e9tude dans diverses disciplines.<\/p>\n

Nicolas Bock (Section d’histoire de l’art<\/a>) et Peter Theiss-Abendroth, psychanalyste, dressent le portrait de ce grand intellectuel \u00e0 la fois ing\u00e9nieux et original.\u00a0Les deux auteurs examinent les fractures individuelles et collectives qui caract\u00e9risent la vie d\u2019Aby Warburg.
