Des \u00e9pop\u00e9es antiques aux s\u00e9ries t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9es, des romans aux documentaires immersifs, certains r\u00e9cits nous transportent dans un autre monde. Dans cet ouvrage, Rapha\u00ebl Baroni (\u00c9cole de fran\u00e7ais langue \u00e9trang\u00e8re<\/a>) explore la sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 des r\u00e9cits mim\u00e9tiques, de ces histoires dans lesquelles le public est plong\u00e9 dans une \u00absc\u00e8ne imaginaire\u00bb o\u00f9 les personnages prennent forme, o\u00f9 le temps s\u2019\u00e9paissit et o\u00f9 l\u2019avenir reste ouvert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S’appuyant sur les derni\u00e8res recherches en narratologie cognitive, rh\u00e9torique, transm\u00e9diale et culturelle, Rapha\u00ebl Baroni montre comment les r\u00e9cits mim\u00e9tiques \u00e9veillent notre empathie et suscitent le suspense, la curiosit\u00e9 ou la surprise, et pourquoi ils constituent un laboratoire d’exp\u00e9riences \u00e9thiques et existentielles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce livre n\u2019est pas seulement une contribution th\u00e9orique, c\u2019est une exploration approfondie du pouvoir social et \u00e9motionnel des r\u00e9cits. Il analyse \u00e0 la fois notre besoin de fiction et la force de certains r\u00e9cits factuels. Dans un contexte d\u2019inflation du narratif, o\u00f9 le concept de r\u00e9cit tend \u00e0 se diluer alors m\u00eame que l\u2019on attribue \u00e0 cette forme de communication un pouvoir toujours plus grand, cet ouvrage met en lumi\u00e8re la puissance sp\u00e9cifique des formes narratives, tout en clarifiant la nature de ce que nous appelons le \u00abr\u00e9cit\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
