\u00c9dit\u00e9 par Martine Hennard Dutheil de la Roch\u00e8re (Section d’anglais<\/a> et Centre interdisciplinaire d’\u00e9tude des litt\u00e9ratures<\/a>) et Marie Emilie Walz (Section d’anglais<\/a>), cet ouvrage inscrit l\u2019\u00e9crivain britannique Angela Carter dans une perspective internationale. Il met ainsi en lumi\u00e8re le r\u00f4le essentiel des langues et des cultures \u00e9trang\u00e8res dans son \u0153uvre, et cela avant m\u00eame qu\u2019elle ne soit reconnue sur plusieurs continents, notamment gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la traduction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traductrice reconnue, Angela Carter a \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 la traduction comme une m\u00e9thode cr\u00e9ative pour fa\u00e7onner ses fictions, qui sont d\u00e9sormais, \u00e0 leur tour, disponibles dans de nombreuses langues. Les contributions r\u00e9unies dans ce volume r\u00e9v\u00e8lent que l\u2019\u0153uvre de Carter continue de susciter des dialogues et d\u2019inspirer ses lecteurs et ses lectrices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
