C&rsquo;est pourquoi la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Nations fonde en 1922 la Commission internationale de coop\u00e9ration intellectuelle, suivie en 1925 de l\u2019Institut international de coop\u00e9ration intellectuelle \u00e0 Paris. Ces entreprises visent \u00e0 encourager la collaboration dans des domaines allant de la science \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9ducation pour la paix, en passant par les relations artistiques et litt\u00e9raires. Malgr\u00e9 l\u2019implication de figures intellectuelles majeures, elles ne cr\u00e9\u00e8rent pas la \u00abSoci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Esprits\u00bb esp\u00e9r\u00e9e, mais jou\u00e8rent un r\u00f4le essentiel dans la diplomatie culturelle et l\u2019essor des champs transnationaux durant l\u2019entre-deux-guerres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dirig\u00e9 par Martin Grandjean (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/hist\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Section d&rsquo;histoire<\/a>) et Daniel Laqua, cet ouvrage rassemble les contributions de 17 auteurs qui retracent l&rsquo;histoire de la coop\u00e9ration intellectuelle \u00e0 la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Nations.
