L\u2019argumentation met en sc\u00e8ne un raisonnement sous une forme langagi\u00e8re, mais le langage ne se limite pas \u00e0 cela: il laisse entendre, oriente, modalise. Dirig\u00e9e par Thierry Herman (Section de fran\u00e7ais<\/a>), cette s\u00e9rie d\u2019\u00e9tudes en fran\u00e7ais et en anglais, en partie issue d’un colloque \u00abargumentation et langage\u00bb dont la troisi\u00e8me \u00e9dition s’est tenue \u00e0 Neuch\u00e2tel en 2021, montre que la relation \u00abp donc q\u00bb est d\u2019une simplicit\u00e9 trompeuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De ces contributions \u00e9merge une vision de l\u2019argumentation beaucoup plus riche, prenant en compte, entre autres, l\u2019\u00e9videntialit\u00e9, les implicites, les normes, la subjectivit\u00e9 et la s\u00e9mantique des mots. L\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat m\u00e9thodologique de cet ouvrage se r\u00e9v\u00e8le aussi dans l\u2019exploitation de mod\u00e8les r\u00e9cents d\u2019analyse d\u2019argumentation en langue naturelle et dans le dialogue entre philosophes et linguistes sur l’activit\u00e9 argumentative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
