Comment la relation entre mythe et rituel varie-t-elle dans les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s anciennes ?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Les mythes peuvent \u00eatre d\u00e9finis comme des histoires traditionnelles que les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s transmettent de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration en g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, les r\u00e9inventant et les remodelant constamment \u00e0 travers des repr\u00e9sentations orales, \u00e9crites ou visuelles. Les rituels et les cultes, en revanche, sont les c\u00e9l\u00e9brations festives qui rythment la vie sociale, offrant \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 l’occasion de r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 partir d’histoires mythiques ou de pi\u00e8ces mim\u00e9tiques concernant des dieux et des h\u00e9ros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comment alors les r\u00e9centes avanc\u00e9es en narratologie, sociolinguistique et anthropologie nous am\u00e8nent-elles \u00e0 reconsid\u00e9rer les relations complexes entre mythe et rituel dans les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s traditionnelles anciennes, qu’elles soient lettr\u00e9es ou non lettr\u00e9es? \u00c9dit\u00e9s par Ombretta Cesca (Institut d’arch\u00e9ologie et des sciences de l’Antiquit\u00e9<\/a>), David Bouvier (Institut d’arch\u00e9ologie et des sciences de l’Antiquit\u00e9<\/a>) et Anton Bierl (Universit\u00e9 de B\u00e2le), Ies articles de ce volume explorent et comparent ces interactions dynamiques \u00e0 travers diverses cultures, y compris la Gr\u00e8ce archa\u00efque et classique, le Proche-Orient ancien et la Rome imp\u00e9riale. Cette publication est notamment le r\u00e9sultat d’une conf\u00e9rence \u00e9ponyme organis\u00e9e en 2016 \u00e0 l’Universit\u00e9 de Lausanne par Ombretta Cesca et David Bouvier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
