Son premier pamphlet, <em>Le p\u00e9dagogue n\u2019aime pas les enfants<\/em> (1917), conna\u00eet un grand retentissement. Et contrairement \u00e0 ce qu\u2019il craignait dans le second, <em>Avant la grande r\u00e9forme de l\u2019an 2000<\/em> (1925), ses textes p\u00e9dagogiques n\u2019ont pas \u00absombr\u00e9, comme beaucoup d\u2019autres ouvrages, dans l\u2019oc\u00e9an des imprim\u00e9s\u00bb. Les lire aujourd\u2019hui, c\u2019est se demander, derri\u00e8re les grands principes, ce qu\u2019on apprend dans nos \u00e9coles. Et pourquoi? Et comment?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sign\u00e9 Alain Ausoni et Anne-Lise Delacr\u00e9taz de l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/fle\/fr\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00c9cole de fran\u00e7ais langue \u00e9trang\u00e8re<\/a>, ce volume est le premier d\u2019une s\u00e9rie de r\u00e9\u00e9ditions critiques de textes d\u2019Henri Roorda. En 1923, Roorda conclut l\u2019une de ses derni\u00e8res conf\u00e9rences par une formule qui donne son titre \u00e0 cette \u00e9dition: \u00abQue l\u2019\u00e9cole apprenne \u00e0 l\u2019enfant \u00e0 r\u00e9citer moins, \u00e0 r\u00e9sister mieux \u00bb. Sous sa plume comme dans ses propos, elle communique plus qu\u2019un espoir: une exigence.
