Le Sarvadar\u015banasa\u1e43graha<\/em> ou \u00abcompendium de toutes les philosophies\u00bb, a \u00e9t\u00e9 compos\u00e9 au XIVe si\u00e8cle, dans l’empire de Vijayanagara, dans le sud de l’Inde. Texte cl\u00e9 sur les seize \u00e9coles philosophiques indiennes, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couvert par la recherche moderne au XIXe si\u00e8cle, qui a produit une \u00e9dition et une traduction anglaise au cours de ce m\u00eame si\u00e8cle. Aujourd’hui, 150 ans plus tard, le pr\u00e9sent volume pr\u00e9sente la premi\u00e8re nouvelle traduction anglaise de l’ensemble du texte. Elle diff\u00e8re consid\u00e9rablement de la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, notamment parce que les chercheurs ont entre-temps fait beaucoup de d\u00e9couvertes sur les textes utilis\u00e9s par l’auteur du Sarvadar\u015banasa\u1e43graha<\/em>, textes qui n’\u00e9taient pas connus ou accessibles aux traducteurs pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
