Grand bibliophile, libraire d&rsquo;anciens, il signe, avec Nicolas Rauch, de remarquables catalogues de livres pr\u00e9cieux qui ont fait autorit\u00e9 pendant des d\u00e9cennies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s la fondation de sa galerie en 1960, il devient l\u2019\u00e9diteur d&rsquo;une dizaine de livres d&rsquo;artistes (Georges Braque, Henriette Grindat, Jean Lecoultre, Roberto Matta, Andr\u00e9 Masson, Joan Mir\u00f3, Pietro Sarto, Kim Tschang-Yeul) et d&rsquo;auteurs (Alain Bosquet, Albert Camus, Ren\u00e9 Char, Alfred Jarry, Michel Leiris, L\u00e9na Leclercq, St\u00e9phane Mallarm\u00e9), qui comptent parmi les plus somptueux chefs-d&rsquo;\u0153uvre du second XXe si\u00e8cle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dirig\u00e9 par Philippe Kaenel (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/hart\/home.html\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/hart\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Section d\u2019histoire de l\u2019art<\/a>) et Dominique Kunz Westerhoff (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/fra\/home.html\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/fra\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Section de fran\u00e7ais<\/a>), cet ouvrage collectif richement illustr\u00e9 pr\u00e9sente le parcours d&rsquo;Engelberts, ses livres et catalogues \u00e0 partir du fonds d&rsquo;archives de la Galerie Engelberts d\u00e9pos\u00e9 \u00e0 la Fondation Martin Bodmer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Philippe Kaenel, Dominique Kunz Westerhoff (dir.), <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.editionsnotari.ch\/collections\/hors-collections\/les-livres-dartistes-dedwin-engelberts.html\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.editionsnotari.ch\/collections\/hors-collections\/les-livres-dartistes-dedwin-engelberts.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Les livres d&rsquo;artistes d&rsquo;Edwin Engelberts.
