Dans le De honesta disciplina<\/em>, Pietro Crinito \u00e9crivait: \u00abCelui qui a fait l’exp\u00e9rience de l’antiquit\u00e9 comprend le pr\u00e9sent et pr\u00e9voit l’avenir\u00bb. Cette phrase d\u00e9finit le d\u00e9roulement de la Renaissance entre la fin du XVe si\u00e8cle et le milieu du XVIe si\u00e8cle, alors que l\u2019horizon politique et socio-culturel italien subit un changement radical li\u00e9 \u00e0 la disparition du syst\u00e8me des cours et aux guerres d\u2019Italie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le classicisme offre une cl\u00e9 de lecture en ce moment de crise o\u00f9 les \u00e9crivains ont vu leur r\u00f4le social changer et ont d\u00fb le reconfigurer, tout en d\u00e9fendant la valeur de l\u2019\u00e9criture et en n\u00e9gociant entre les exigences du pouvoir et la vocation lyrique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
