Sa l\u00e9gende a \u00e9t\u00e9 largement diffus\u00e9e d\u00e8s le Moyen \u00c2ge dans de nombreuses r\u00e9dactions en latin et en langue vernaculaire, en vers et en prose, ainsi que dans des miracles, des hymnes, des pri\u00e8res, des offices et des sermons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La version VIII de la vie de sainte Catherine, r\u00e9dig\u00e9e en vers en moyen haut allemand, repr\u00e9sente l&rsquo;une des adaptations les plus ambitieuses de la l\u00e9gende dans le monde germanophone. Compos\u00e9e dans le premier quart du XIVe si\u00e8cle dans le couvent dominicain de Sankt Katharinental pr\u00e8s de Diessenhofen (TG), cette version de la l\u00e9gende met l&rsquo;accent sur l&rsquo;enseignement th\u00e9ologique chr\u00e9tien et peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre lue comme un t\u00e9moignage de la pi\u00e9t\u00e9 f\u00e9minine de la fin du Moyen \u00c2ge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le cadre de son stage du programme de sp\u00e9cialisation du Master <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/lettres\/home\/menuinst\/formations\/master-es-lettres\/master-es-lettres-avec-specialisation\/histoire-du-livre-et-edition.html\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/lettres\/home\/menuinst\/formations\/master-es-lettres\/master-es-lettres-avec-specialisation\/histoire-du-livre-et-edition.html\" target=\"_blank\">\u00abHistoire du livre et \u00e9dition critique des textes\u00bb<\/a>, men\u00e9 \u00e0 la <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/all\/home.html\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/all\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\">Section d\u2019allemand<\/a> de la Facult\u00e9 des lettres de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Lausanne, Tanguy Donnet s\u2019est donn\u00e9 pour objectif de sortir cette version VIII de l\u2019oubli, en \u00e9tablissant une premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition de ce manuscrit de plus de 2000 vers.
