Durant l\u2019\u00e9poque hell\u00e9nistique, le culte royal, en l\u2019\u00c9gypte et en M\u00e9sopotamie, ainsi que le culte h\u00e9ro\u00efque, en Gr\u00e8ce, connaissent des transformations importantes qui sont \u00e0 mettre en relation avec l\u2019\u00e9mergence et le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019une culture \u00ab hell\u00e9nistique \u00bb dans le bassin m\u00e9diterran\u00e9en.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c9dit\u00e9 par Giuseppina Lenzo (Institut d\u2019arch\u00e9ologie et des sciences de l\u2019Antiquit\u00e9<\/a>), Christophe Nihan et Matthieu Pellet, cet ouvrage collectif porte sur l\u2019\u00e9volution des cultes rendus aux rois et aux h\u00e9ros dans les trois aires culturelles de l\u2019Antiquit\u00e9 que repr\u00e9sentent l\u2019\u00c9gypte, le Proche-Orient (M\u00e9sopotamie et Levant) et la Gr\u00e8ce, dans une perspective comparatiste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les contributions r\u00e9unies offrent un panorama des cultes posthumes et des anc\u00eatres royaux en \u00c9gypte ancienne, du Nouvel Empire \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque ptol\u00e9ma\u00efque, du culte royal durant l\u2019\u00e9poque ptol\u00e9ma\u00efque, du rapport des rois s\u00e9leucides au culte royal, ainsi que des cultes fun\u00e9raires, h\u00e9ro\u00efques et royaux en Gr\u00e8ce et dans la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e hell\u00e9nistique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
