La philosophie de Johann Friedrich Herbart (1776-1841) est souvent cit\u00e9e, mais rarement lue pour elle-m\u00eame, alors qu’elle fut une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence incontournable dans l\u2019Empire austro-hongrois du XIXe et du XXe si\u00e8cle, au point d’\u00eatre qualifi\u00e9e de \u00ab philosophie officielle \u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le pr\u00e9sent ouvrage, \u00e9dit\u00e9 par Carole Maign\u00e9 (Section de philosophie<\/a>) se propose d’\u00e9claircir ce paysage philosophique singulier, avec des contributions internationales de sp\u00e9cialistes du champ qui rappellent l’importance historique et conceptuelle de l’herbartisme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
