Longtemps n\u00e9glig\u00e9es, les \u00e9tudes sur le sentiment, l’affect et la sensibilit\u00e9 se sont multipli\u00e9es en sciences humaines et sociales ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, depuis que les liens fondamentaux entre \u00e9motion, pens\u00e9e rationnelle et \u00ab\u00a0bon jugement\u00a0\u00bb ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mis en avant notamment par Damasio et Goleman. Or, ces recherches sur l’\u00e9motivit\u00e9 humaine exigent une collaboration interdisciplinaire.<\/p>\n

C’est dans cette perspective que les contributions au pr\u00e9sent volume codirig\u00e9 par Agnieszka Soltysik Monnet (Section d’anglais<\/a>) abordent les relations entre le langage et les \u00e9motions sous diff\u00e9rents angles. Rassemblant des expert\u00b7e\u00b7s en linguistique et en \u00e9tudes litt\u00e9raires m\u00e9di\u00e9vales et modernes, elles examinent entre autres l’esth\u00e9tique romantique, l’histoire des \u00e9motions, le m\u00e9lodrame et le gothique, la linguistique, la r\u00e9ception et l’interpr\u00e9tation, l’impolitesse et la m\u00e9decine.<\/p>\n
