In addition, I am a PhD candidate at the Institute of Higher Education and Research in Healthcare, Lausanne University Hospital and University of Lausanne, Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am currently working in projects which aim to improve the support for informal caregivers, in particular family caregivers of people living with dementia. In my research and specifically in my doctoral project, I focus on the relationship quality between people living with dementia and their informal caregivers as well as on psycho-educative interventions for informal dementia caregivers. I have further interest and experience regarding person-centred care in nursing homes and qualitative research, in particular Grounded Theory approaches and strategies to improve the quality of qualitative research. It is a priority for me to make the voices of people with dementia and their informal caregivers heard in clinical practice, research and society as a whole. Having worked for several years in specialised units for people living with dementia, I got encouraged to conduct research in this field in order to improve the care and support for people living with dementia and their families. During my Master in Nursing Sciences (2012\u20132015) at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, I started to work in the nursing research unit at the same university to further develop my research skills and link them to my clinical experience.
