{"id":578,"date":"2024-02-18T15:54:54","date_gmt":"2024-02-18T14:54:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/inforecherche\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=578"},"modified":"2024-02-18T23:40:08","modified_gmt":"2024-02-18T22:40:08","slug":"msca-staff-exchanges-2023","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/inforecherche\/event\/msca-staff-exchanges-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Horizon Europe &#8211; MSCA Staff Exchanges 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/researcher\/Contact\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><br \/>\n<button>Contacts facultaires<\/button><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>For staff members<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Increased set of research and transferable skills and competences, leading to improved employability and career prospects within and outside academia;<\/li>\n<li>More knowledge and innovative ideas converted into products, processes and services;<\/li>\n<li>More entrepreneurial mind-sets, testing new and innovative ideas;<\/li>\n<li>Increased international exposure leading to extended networks and opportunities;<\/li>\n<li>Enhanced networking and communication capacities with scientific peers, as well as with the general public that will increase and broaden the research and innovation impact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>For participating organisations<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Innovative ways of cooperation and transfer of knowledge between sectors and disciplines;<\/li>\n<li>Strengthened and broader international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary collaborative networks;<\/li>\n<li>Boosted R&amp;I capacity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"topicdescriptionkind\">Scope<\/span>:<\/p>\n<p>MSCA Staff Exchanges involve organisations from the academic and non-academic sectors (including SMEs) from across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>Support is provided for international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary mobility of R&amp;I staff leading to knowledge transfer between participating organisations.<\/p>\n<p><em>Mobility through secondments<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The organisations constituting the partnership contribute directly to the implementation of a joint R&amp;I project by seconding and\/or hosting eligible staff members. Such a project must explore activities that can be based on previous work but should go beyond and generate or strengthen long-term collaborations. Secondments must involve physical mobility<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/opportunities\/portal\/#fn1\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">[1]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0of the eligible staff members and must always take place between legal entities independent from each other.<\/p>\n<p>MSCA Staff Exchanges can address three dimensions of mobility: international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/opportunities\/portal\/#fn2\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">[2]<\/a><\/sup>. While exchanges between organisations within EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries should mainly be inter-sectoral, same-sector exchanges<sup><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/funding-tenders\/opportunities\/portal\/#fn3\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">[3]<\/a><\/sup>\u00a0are also possible under the condition that they are interdisciplinary. Interdisciplinarity is not required for same-sector exchanges with non-associated Third Countries.<\/p>\n<p>Secondments between institutions established in non-associated Third Countries or within the same EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country are not eligible.<\/p>\n<p>The collaborative approach of MSCA Staff Exchanges should exploit complementary competences of the participating organisations and create synergies between them. The secondments should be essential to achieve the joint project\u2019s R&amp;I activities.
