In an experiment, journalists wrote short texts before and after a training session, and the effects were measured along three dimensions: their own user experience, the perception of domain experts, and that of non-expert readers.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Key findings: the training improved the journalists&#8217; perceived expertise but reduced the perceived helpfulness of using an LLM; the effect on expert perception varied with task difficulty; and the impact on reader perception remained mixed across text-quality dimensions.
