Start of the field campaign on the Chamberonne

With the new hydrologic year, we have officially started a 2-year field campaign to characterize water quantity and quality at multiple locations between the Mèbre and Sorge tributaries of the Chamberonne river, Lausanne, Switzerland.

This work is part of Raphäel Miazza’s Ph.D. He setup 5 stations to record: water level, electrical conductivity, temperature, turbidity, FDOM Fluorescence and he will collect weekly water samples to be analysed for major ions and water isotopes. Many thanks to our technician, Floreana Miesen, for all her precious help. We look forward to a lot of interesting data.
