This month there are two new short projects starting:
- From sensors to science communication: Bringing Campus Weather Data to Everyone. This projects aims to build science communication material to accompany the new UNIL meteorologic station.
- Soil-and-vegetation monitoring through an Ecotron system: This is an intense 3-month project by a Civil Servant who will help us set up and run the first experiments on the Ecotron system.
And also two UNIL master projects starting:
- Monitoring of sponge city installations: This project aims to help water managers understand the efficacy of installations that facilitate water infiltration into urban soils.
- Discharge measurements in the Vallon de Nant using fluorescent tracer techniques: This project aims to use tracers such as natural electrical conductivity and applied fluorescein to quantify discharge and understand its sources in the Vallon de Nant catchment.
