Scholarship opportunities are available in Switzerland for PhD students (3-4 years), as well as post-doctoral researchers who wish to visit the group for a short period of a few months or a long period of several years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Opportunities for PhDs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you wish to apply for funding to do a PhD at the University of Lausanne please first check the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/immat\/en\/home\/menuinst\/futurs-doctorants.html\">enrollment requirements<\/a>. Each year, the Swiss government offers several <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sbfi.admin.ch\/sbfi\/en\/home\/education\/scholarships-and-grants\/swiss-government-excellence-scholarships.html\">Excellence Scholarships<\/a> to conduct PhDs in Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Opportunities for post-doctoral researchers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Foreign scholars can apply for funding from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) to lead their own projects (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.snf.ch\/en\/Ot8LWJbOTVUA4sYe\/news\/ambizione\" target=\"_blank\">Ambizione<\/a>).
