Bio
Mauro Cherubini is Professor in the Department of Information Systems at HEC Lausanne, University of Lausanne.
His research focuses on the use of results from psychology and behavioural economics for the design of mobile interfaces with the ultimate goal of empowering users to overcome their natural limitations and achieve positive changes in their lives.
Prof. Cherubini holds a PhD in Computer Science from EPFL, where he worked for the CRAFT laboratory (now called CHILI lab) and conducted research on eye-tracking and cooperative work at a distance.
Before joining HEC Lausanne, Prof. Cherubini also worked on “user experience” at Google, Telefónica Research, Microsoft Research and the Media Lab Europe in Dublin.
