Gaia Melloni is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting and Control at HEC Lausanne, University of Lausanne.
Gaia Melloni holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management from the Graduate School of Economics and Management (University of Padua, Venice and Verona, Italy). She is an interdisciplinary researcher in accounting and corporate sustainability with an expertise on integrated and sustainability reporting, on textual analysis and corporate sustainability. She has published in international journals including European Accounting Review, Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal, and Journal of Accounting and Public Policy.
She has previously worked as lecturer and senior lecturer at University of East Anglia (UK) and as postdoctoral fellow at Bocconi University (Italy). She has been visiting scholar at Saïd Business School – Oxford University (UK), Rotterdam School of Management – Erasmus University (the Netherlands) and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University (Australia).
