{"id":6,"date":"2017-10-11T10:32:19","date_gmt":"2017-10-11T08:32:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/gtf\/?page_id=6"},"modified":"2025-04-14T11:48:05","modified_gmt":"2025-04-14T09:48:05","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wp.unil.ch\/gtf\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The mission of the Lausanne Genomic Technologies Facility (GTF) is to provide its user community access to and assistance with <em>state-of-the-art<\/em> nucleic acid analysis technologies.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have the scientific and technical expertise in genomics to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Help you choose the most appropriate technology for your application<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support you in optimizing your experimental design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct your wet lab experiment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sequence your libraries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform primary data analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide you with an expertise in biostatistical analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage data distribution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Next Generation Sequencing data are stored on the archiving system of the GTF operated by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unil.ch\/ci\/fr\/home\/menuinst\/catalogue-de-services\/recherche\/calcul-haute-performance-hpc.html\">University of Lausanne high performance computing service<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The standard timeframe from sample submission to raw data delivery <strong>is generally shorter than 4 weeks<\/strong>.
