The WUN<\/a> Research Development Fund (RDF) provides grants of up to \u00a310,000, for one year<\/strong> to foster research collaborations among academic staff (faculty) at WUN member universities. Grants from the RDF are intended to help stimulate larger collaborative projects that will strengthen WUN and make the collaborating partners competitive for major awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The proposals that address problems inone or more of the following areas within the context of sustainable development:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Social justice and human rights; inequality<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Sustainable world: cities and urbanization; energy transitions; water, and food security<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Mental health; child and maternal health; ageing<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Responsible and ethical applications of Artificial Intelligenc<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    You can find the the RDF 2023 Guidelines here<\/a>. The RDF 2021 theme of Mobilising for a Sustainable Future<\/em> reinforces WUN\u2019s commitment to supporting research that addresses sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
