Endowed with 5000 CHF, the award recognizes the efforts of researchers whose insights lend themselves to immediate implementation in nature and landscape conservation.

Submitted research papers are expected to either:

• provide a solution for a nature conservation problem, or
• reveal a hitherto largely unknown nature conservation problem, or
• indicate new lines for nature conservation to follow, or
• reevaluate current nature conservation strategies, or
• make an essential contribution to prioritizing nature conservation
