Opportunity Grants : events in East and Southeast Asia

The Opportunity Grants support initiatives of researchers from Swiss universities, universities of applied sciences, universities of teacher education, and public research institutes, linked to specific events or incidents in East and Southeast Asia. 

Eligible applicants: postdoctoral researchers, senior scientists, or professors of Swiss federal and cantonal universities, universities of applied sciences and universities of teacher education, and public research institutes.

Eligible Asian partners: Senior academic partners affiliated with a university or a public research institute in the partner country.

Localisation: China, Japan, South Korea, ASEAN member states. Partners located in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan are also eligible.

Funding: max. 50k CHF for a project of up to 12 months
