Cette perte de masse profite \u00e0 la production hydro\u00e9lectrique suisse ; sur les 30 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, elle fournissait environ 3-4% de la production hydro\u00e9lectrique annuelle.<\/p>\n<p>Le retrait des glaciers a donc deux effets : pour le moment, ce retrait lib\u00e8re de l\u2019eau, ce qui conduit chaque ann\u00e9e \u00e0 un surplus de production hydro\u00e9lectrique par rapport \u00e0 la production qui serait obtenue seulement de la pluie et de la neige.
