En ao\u00fbt 2012, le 34e Congr\u00e8s international de g\u00e9ologie, r\u00e9uni \u00e0 Brisbane, a discut\u00e9, entre autres points, de la possibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;officialiser cette nouvelle p\u00e9riode.
