Join us for a moment dedicated to encounters, creativity and collective intelligence around a challenge of and for our faculty: research datasets!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An artist will illustrate the day&#8217;s events and record the results of the discussions in a mural (Manga)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Day is intended as a first step in thinking about how to get the most out of our research data. Keeping this in mind, what can be done to make the most your data and make them visible, even the ones that cannot be shared?<\/td><td>OPENING THE DATA BOX<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>10h<\/td><td><strong>Workshop in duos<\/strong> &#8211; You will be invited to present your research data to a FGSE colleague in a convivial setting. A set of guiding questions will be proposed to structure and animate your exchanges, encouraging you to think about the data that will outlive you or the data you dream of\u2026<\/td><td>T\u2019AS-MA-DATA 1<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>10h45<\/td><td>Coffee break<\/td><td>HOT DATA<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>11h<\/td><td><strong>Workshop group and plenary feedback<\/strong> &#8211; In small groups of 8, each duo will present the data of their partner. A general restitution will follow.<br>During all workshop stages, research data specialists des donn\u00e9es will be there to exchange with you and answer your questions : Carmen Jamb\u00e9 (UNIRIS), Zhargalma Dandarova et Am\u00e9lie Dreiss (Research data support FGSE)<\/td><td>T\u2019AS-MA-DATA 2<br>T\u2019AS-MA-DATA 3<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>12h<\/td><td>Lunch<\/td><td><em>SHARED DATA MEAL<\/em><strong><em>&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>13h20<\/td><td><strong>Graphic feedback and discussion<\/strong> &#8211; Anne-Rapha\u00eblle de Barmon, visual artist and author of the Day\u2019s poster, will illustrate your exchanges by creating a fresco. Researchers will be invited to contribute by reacting and commenting, in order to enrich the dialogue between art and research.<\/td><td>MANGA\u00b7MY\u00b7DATA 1<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>13h40<\/td><td><strong>Round table<\/strong> &#8211; Ariane Maharaj (ISTE), Bart Steen (IDYST) et Selin Yilmaz (IGD) will address the challenges of data in terms of research visibility, and their practices for ensuring data sustainability and sharing. The round table will be enlivened by questions and comments from the audience.<\/td><td>ROCK AROUND DATA<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>14h40<\/td><td><strong>Conclusion<\/strong> &#8211; C\u00e9line Rozenblat will summarize the day and open the discussion on the next strategic steps for the Faculty: proposals for training workshops and the development of the UNIL data catalogue, that the FGSE has initiated as a pilot project in the future UNIL research platform (IRIS).<\/td><td>ONE STEP BEYOND DATA<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>14h55<\/td><td><strong>Graphic fresco and closing <\/strong>&#8211; To finish on a high note, Anne-Rapha\u00eblle de Barmon, will unveil her completed fresco, based on everyone&#8217;s input and active involvement.
