Marco Giesselmann lectures in Sociology at the University of Zürich. His research is devoted primarily to the impact of institutions on individual living conditions. Publications include articles and textbooks on poverty and migration, on consequences of demographic transitions, and on the methodology of longitudinal data analysis.
