I am a political scientist, specialising in gender equality policies and politics in comparative perspective as well as in socio-legal research. My research projects include legal mobilization for pay equity in Europe, the governance of gender equality policies in Switzerland and access to justice for people in poverty in Switzerland.
In my academic work, I explore how we can distribute power, money, time and recognition fairly; how we can promote stakeholders’ participation in political decision, so as to achieve and defend a comprehensive democratisation of society. I am professor for social policy at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU).
