The International Geneva Award (IG Award) has been established to encourage outstanding research scientists to produce publications that are particularly relevant for International Organisations (IOs). The Award is a prestigious academic distinction specifically created to promote links between Switzerland\u2019s academics and International Geneva. The Award will be given to the three best papers published on a subject related to international studies <\/strong>that are especially useful from the perspective of International Organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SNIS considers that international studies deal not only with the analysis of international relations, but also with political, economic, social, environmental, legal, and health issues that extend beyond national boundaries. Submitted papers can deal with a wide range of academic disciplines, such as political science, economics, sociology, social and cultural anthropology, law, history, geography, environmental sciences, and related areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This award of CHF 5\u2019000<\/strong> is for authors who have published their papers in the domain of international studies whose findings are accessible to a wider audience and relevant to the work of International Organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entrants must be researchers working at post-doctoral level and above who have published academic papers in international studies in the previous year. You will find more detailed eligibility criteria below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
