In 2026, the European Research Council will launch a new funding instrument: the ERC Plus Grant<\/strong>. Designed for visionary researchers<\/strong> with ideas that go beyond what traditional ERC schemes can support, ERC Plus enables genuinely transformative, high\u2011risk\/high\u2011reward science across all fields. Only around 30 projects<\/strong> will be funded Europe\u2011wide each year (2026 and 2027), making this one of the most selective and prestigious funding opportunities in Horizon Europe.
This national info event will give Swiss-based researchers a look at the scheme\u2019s objectives, eligibility rules, evaluation process, timelines, and proposal requirements\u2014particularly the new \u201cStatement of Vision\u201d<\/strong>, central to Step 1 of the evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
